All registered users can rate the snowboard designs on a scale of 1 (poor) to 10 (awesome).

The qualification is divided into 3 heats:

Heat 1: 15 November – 31 December 2007

Heat 2: 1 January – 31 January 2008

Heat 3: 1 February – 29 February 2008

In each heat, the Top 5 designs which have received the highest rating from other users win a Burton Goodie Bag and are qualified for the finals.

A design takes part within the heat it has been submitted. If you like you could upload the same design again in the next heat. However, it makes more sense to improve it before. The results of the public online voting will be announced in the news section of this website.

Additionally, we will give away exclusive Burton Promo T-Shirts to those who participate in the voting. Winners will be selected in a random drawing.

NEW: from heat 2 onwards a design expert will give wildcards to 5 designs in addition to the 5 designs the public voting generated. This means that at the end of a heat there will be 10 instead of originally 5 finalists. An yes, users that get into the final via wildcards also get a Burton Goodie Bag as prize.

In the first week of March 2008, a selected jury consisting of pro riders, board designers, artists, and other experts will assess the Top 25 designs qualified via public online voting and design expert wildcards. They will choose a winner with regard to criteria like imagination, innovation, originality and visual appeal of designs. The winner gets a Series 13™ snowboard and the Suzuki Grand Vitara Freeride in his/her personal design!
